Museum passes logosKimball Library has an assortment of museum passes to check out.

One of the Museum of Science Exhibits currently on display is: BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life.

This exhibition uses real human specimens to show the body at every stage of life. Body Worlds is the most visited traveling exhibition in the world. Visiting Body Worlds & The Cycle of Life requires an additional ticket purchase. For library pass-holders, tickets for this special event will be $15.00 per person (maximum purchase of 4 tickets per library pass) in addition to the $10.00 reduced admission price for the general Exhibit Halls.
Now Open through January 5th.

For the little ones: The Museum of Science also has on exhibit: Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails

Explore the sights and sounds of the Island of Sodor with Thomas and his friends in a family-friendly adventure designed for young learners ages 2 to 7 (and their grownups). Climb inside Thomas’s cab, fix Percy’s wobbly wheels, and pull levers for train noises. As kids move throughout the space, they’ll help Thomas and his friends solve a variety of challenges, ranging from simple sorting and shape identification to more complicated engineering obstacles. This exhibit is an ideal combination of play opportunities and science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.  Now Open through January 12th.
