Mother Goose on the Loose: Mondays @10:15 (Babies-Toddlers)

Welcome to Mother Goose on the Loose! (Fall Session is currently FULL with a waitlist. Winter session opens for registration on 12/9/23 and starts on 1/8/24.)

Infants through age 3 with their caregivers are invited to join us for simple stories, rhymes, finger plays, and songs modeling after the Mother Goose curriculum. Please feel welcome to stay after the session to allow for playtime and socializing for all ages.

If you sign up, we consider you registered for multiple classes throughout the session. There will be 4 sessions per year, one for each season.
We will meet most Mondays throughout the year. Check the calendar for specific dates. If you sign up for one class it signs you up for the entire series.

For detailed information please register online or give us a call.   You may join mid-session.

WHY READ TO BABY?

• Phonological awareness — Being able to hear the beginning and ending sounds that make up words will help children sound out words when they begin to read
• Print motivation — Children who enjoy books and reading will be curious about how to read and will read more
• Print awareness — Children become familiar with how books work
• Vocabulary — Children need to know the meaning of words to understand what they are reading
