Girls Who Code: WEDNESDAYS @6:30-7:45 PM (Grades 5-12)

Girls Who Code is a nonprofit organization that teaches girls computer science and programming concepts. Kimball GWC is being run by certified Girls Who Code instructor Pam Livingston and being assisted by Kathy Watson.  Our first meeting is September 19, 2018 for the 2018-2019 club year.

The program will take place here at the library WEDNESDAY nights PROMPTLY at 6:30 and getting out at 7:45. It does not cost anything to participate, but you are asked to bring a laptop to use. If this is a problem please let Kathy know as the library has a limited amount of laptops.  The club will take place weekly until the end of May with some weeks off–especially vacation weeks and meeting room conflicts. The expectation is that you will come unless you are ill or out of town.  The lessons build weekly and to ‘pass’ you need to attend 80% of the meetings.  The first night your child comes be prepared to stay and fill out forms, etc.
NOTE: We will never meet the 1st Wednesday of the month – that night is reserved for tween book discussion.

Questions? Contact Kathy Watson at Please be prepared to bring a laptop or have it dropped off for you.  This event is for girls in grades 5-12 only.  Mature 5th graders, only, please
